Unbelievable, you can't tell too much from
this picture taken Tuesday, 6/22, but this
is the work completed in 2 days on the new
asphalt runway.  The existing Bermuda runway
is just to the right.  It is possible the asphalt
runway will be completed by this coming weekend.

GMA JUNE 20, 2004

Thanks to Arthur Neto for some of these great shots
and for showing what a family outing at the old R/C
field should be like.  Arthur brought out a fleet of planes
and his wife and two charming daughters.  Arthur had a
small electric cub up flying several times and both daughters,
Mayara (11) and Fernanda (8) were able to fly the cub with
pretty impressive skills.  Thanks Arthur.
