The GMA Rat Race was held on May 16th.

The annual Memorial Day (Sunday) event is planned for May 30th but all details and events have not been finalized at this time. Even so, the food is going to be one of those Mike Kinsey special BBQ events that you will definitely want to be there for. The Joe Nall event was held May 13 - 16 and Bob Hewlett and Bob Verlander attended on Saturday. Bob Hewlett provided a few pictures (below) from his visit. We have a relatively new member Cass Maliszewski, new to the GMA, but obviously not a new modeler. Bob Hewlett paid a visit recently to Cass's home and also provides some pictures of his well organized work shop. Bob relates:
"Last week Bob
Verlander and I visited Cass Maliszewski's fantastic R/C shop in
Cumming. Cass was kind enough to allow me to take some pictures of
his playhouse and gave me permission to send them on to you for use as
you please. I wanted to do this because Cass's shop is the most
organized and complete model shop I have ever entered. It almost
looks like a combination of an R/C museum and commercial hobby shop all
in one. Other modelers will surely be inspired, as am I, to get a
better handle on shop organization after viewing these images."
